The ALZO 2000 SUPER
BRIGHT "COOL-LITE" uses 3 high intensity, high efficiency Metal
Halide bulbs (HID) with true "daylight" color temperature (5300K) and
very high brightness. The output intensity of this light is
equivalent to 2400 watts of tungsten light and power consumption is
only 440watts (all 3 bulbs on).
The Metal Halide bulbs in
these lights have a very long life (about 7,000 hrs) compared to photo
continuous "hot" lights (60-100hrs). These lights produce a fraction of
the heat of conventional continuous lights, and are environmentally
friendly. The 3 bulbs are separately switched to allow for brightness
control. See NOTE below.
The high brightness of the
ALZO 2000 "COOL-LITE" is a must when shooting medium to large objects or
when imaging with very small apertures for maximum "depth of focus". The
High brightness delivered by this light is ideal when using a softbox
because a softbox reduces light intensity. Our popular

The light intensity output
is selectable at 1/3, 2/3 and full power with full power equivalent to a
2400 watt tungsten light. Due to the daylight color and high brightness of
the ALZO 2000, these lights can be mixed with daylight to act as a shadow
fill or backlight.
